Smarter Quality: Harnessing AI Without Losing Control of Your QMS
Days: 1
7:30 AM- 4:30 PM MT
OverviewArtificial intelligence can be a useful tool for organizing procedures, analyzing information, preparing documentation, and supporting everyday QMS activities. But using AI effectively requires more than knowing what it can do. Organizations also need to understand where AI can introduce risk, how to verify AI-generated information, and where human judgment must remain in control. This practical, ISO-informed training explores how AI can be used as a supplemental tool within a QMS while maintaining process integrity and effective oversight. Participants will examine both the benefits and potential risks of AI, work through practical case studies, and learn how to establish clear boundaries for responsible AI use. By the end of the course, participants will be able to identify appropriate uses of AI within a QMS, recognize when AI use becomes an overreliance or risk, and apply appropriate controls to keep qualified personnel responsible for decisions. Participants will also develop a procedure using AI to be implemented within their organization. |
PrerequisitesThere are no prerequisites for this course. A general understanding of how artificial intelligence works will be helpful, but no advanced AI knowledge or technical experience is required. |
